Record of Service to Cumberland County in the Court of Common Pleas since 1999.
Tried 70 jury trials and more than 100 non-jury trials.
As Chief of Appeals, presented written and oral arguments before the PA Supreme and Superior Courts.
Currently serves as Cumberland County’s First Assistant District Attorney.
Keeping Cumberland County Safe
By prosecuting perpetrators of homicide, domestic violence, crimes against children, sexual assault, as well as fraud and DUIs, Michelle Sibert keeps dangerous criminals off the streets.
Michelle secured funding to expand the Victims Services Office, adding personnel specifically for the prosecution of crimes against women.
Committed to Service
Served as Director of Victim Services for six years. Oversaw a team of advocates and personally advocated for crime victims in and outside of court. Secured competitive grant funding to provide needed services to crime victims.
Board Member at Safe Harbour, a non-profit that provides housing for those experiencing homelessness in Cumberland County.
Attends The Meeting House in Dillsburg, works with TMH Kids, & volunteers with the church’s food ministry, preparing meals for families in need.
Served as Treasurer for the South Middleton Soccer
Association from 2010 – 2014.
